The short answer

At Canon Moment, proposal photography in the Orlando area starts at $400 for one hour with a fully edited gallery. Photo + video starts at $675, and full proposal setups with a photographer and videographer run $1,497–$2,500. Outside the Orlando area, a flat travel fee for your city is added.

Most photographers make you fill out a form before they’ll tell you a price. I’d rather you know the numbers up front, so this is exactly what proposal photography costs with us in 2026 — and what actually changes the price.

These are our photo and photo + video packages. Every one includes a planning call, help choosing the spot, a hidden photographer, and a private online gallery with full-resolution downloads.

Travel fees outside Orlando

Inside our Orlando service area there’s no travel fee. That area reaches farther than most people expect — Winter Park, Kissimmee, Lake Buena Vista, Celebration, Sanford, Clermont and even Cocoa Beach, New Smyrna Beach and Daytona Beach are all included. Farther out, a flat fee for your city is added to whichever package you choose:

What actually changes the price

  • Video. Adding a videographer is the biggest jump — and the one couples most often tell us they’re glad they did. Hearing the “yes” is different from seeing it.
  • Setup. Florals, candles and signage mean materials, a team and setup time before you arrive.
  • Coverage time. An hour covers the walk-up, the proposal and portraits afterward. Ninety minutes gives you room for a second location or family arriving after.
  • Location. Travel fees apply outside the Orlando area, and some venues charge their own admission or photography fees.

How to compare photographers fairly

When you compare quotes, ask the same four questions of everyone: How many edited images will I get? How fast is delivery? Will you help plan the location and the signal? And is video included or extra? A lower price with a short session and a handful of images isn’t the same product as a full planned session with a full gallery.

Booking and payment

A 50% retainer ($400 max) holds your date, and the balance is due on or before your session day. Photography dates usually book 2–4 weeks ahead; setups need 4 or more.
